Ostrov (německy Schlackenwerth) je město v okrese Karlovy Vary v Karlovarském kraji, deset kilometrů severovýchodně od Karlových Varů. Leží na řece Bystřici a na úpatí Krušných hor. Žije zde přibližně 16 tisíc obyvatel.
