È il primo e finora unico seguito di un suo film che Woo abbia girato. Tornano gli eroi del primo capitolo, anche se Chow Yun Fat, morto nei panni di Mark, “risorge” nel ruolo di Ken, gemello di Mark. La storia è molto più melodrammatica che in precedenza e francamente meno interessante e ritmata.
