Bernhard Conrad won the “Best Actor” award yesterday evening at the German Actors’ Awards ceremony organized by the Bundesverband Schauspiel (BFFS) and the agency La Maison VSF for his double role in Max Gleschinski’s film “Kahlschlag” ( English title “A Clear Felling”), which is distributed by UCM.ONE.
“Kahlschlag” (“A Clear Felling”) is a German low-budget thriller and the debut film of director Max Gleschinski. It follows the complicated love triangle relationship of three childhood friends living in the countryside of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and deals with themes such as jealousy, resentment, disappointment, and regret.
