Plot. In the dark alleys of London, the notorious Jack the Ripper is committing a series of gruesome murders. Holmes and Watson, already intrigued by reports of the Jack the Ripper murders, become involved when they receive a parcel from Whitechapel containing a case of surgical instruments with the scalpel, possibly the murder weapon, missing.
A Study in Scarlet (srpskohrvatski: Skica u grimizu) je britanska nijema drama iz 1914. godine koju je režirao George Pearson. Film je temeljen na istoimenom romanu Arthura Conana Doylea. Film se danas smatra izgubljenim. Zanimljivo je spomenuti kako je istoimeni film izdan u Sjedinjenim Državama sljedećega dana (29. prosinca 1914.).
