Founded in 1838, Acadia University is one of the oldest and most respected liberal arts universities in Canada. Located just a one-hour drive from Halifax, Nova Scotia and its international airport, Acadia is an integral part of the quintessential college town of Wolfville, overlooking the Annapolis Valley and the Bay of Fundy.
At Acadia, we want to teach you how to answer your own questions about human behaviour and not just what others have learned about psychology. Our psychology program, available as either Bachelor of Science (BSc) or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees, offers small class sizes, hands-on research opportunities, and specialization options.
BA with Major - English. English. BA With Major in English. First-year English majors should register for. ENGL 1483-1493 - all year. Writing & Reading Critically. 12h of courses from the Arts Core (see below) - fall term. e.g. 3h Humanities + 3h Social Sciences + 3h Language other than English + 3h Science.
