THE TRAINING FACILITY FOR NAVY OFFICERS. The Naval Academy, located in the district of Mürwik in Flensburg, was built in the northern-German brick-Gothic style. Since 1910, it has been the main training facility for the officers in the German Navy.
19 set 2019 · Il 15 maggio 1946, la Horst Wessel cambia nome e diventa Cutter Eagle. Fu assegnata alla Guardia Costiera a stelle e strisce; salpù da Bremerhaven per arrivare a Orangeburg New York. Ad assistere il capitano Gordon McGowan, c’era ancora il vecchio comandante tedesco Schnibbe e molti dei membri dell’equipaggio.
