The Actors Studio is a membership organization for professional actors, theatre directors and playwrights located on West 44th Street in Hell's Kitchen, New York City. The studio is best known for its work refining and teaching method acting.

Located in the heart of the Theatre District in New York City, the Studio’s landmark structure on West 44th Street houses offices, rehearsal spaces, the Paul Newman Library, and a 99-seat theatre. Sessions are private, but the theatre opens to the public occasionally when our work is considered ready for an audience.
