Ada Limón (born March 28, 1976) is an American poet. On July 12, 2022, she was named the 24th Poet Laureate of the United States by the Librarian of Congress. This made her the first Latina to be Poet Laureate of the United States.

Ada Limón is a poet, author, and educator who became the 24th Poet Laureate of the United States in 2022. She is the author of several poetry collections, including The Hurting Kind, The Carrying, and Bright Dead Things, and the host of the podcast The Slowdown.
Ada Limón is the author of six books of poetry, including The Carrying, which won the National Book Critics Circle Award for Poetry. Her book Bright Dead Things was nominated for the National Book Award, the National Book Critics Circle Award, and the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award.
