Addio Mimí! ITALIA 1947. René, giovane cantante polacco, conosce a Parigi una giovane connazionale, Bénise. Sono tutti e due poveri: René non riesce a trovare una scrittura, Bénise ha una bella voce e vorrebbe dedicarsi all'arte. I due giovani si sentono reciprocamente attratti e tra loro fiorisce l'amore.
