This movie is not to be confused with Martin Scorsese’s Academy Award winning drama of the same name, which stars Daniel Day-Lewis, Michelle Pfeiffer and Winona Ryder. The final product here, directed by Alan Bridges, which is not based on Edith Wharton’s novel, published in 1920, is a solid one.
