Albert Rubens (1614–1657), was the eldest son of Peter Paul Rubens and Isabella Brant. His research as a philologist and scholar of antiquity gained him the recognition of fellow scholars throughout Europe. He held an official position in the government of the Habsburg Netherlands as a secretary of the Privy Council of the Habsburg Netherlands. [1]

19 apr 2022 · Durante la sua carriera, anche di viaggiatore, Rubens acquisì la fama di "principe dei pittori e pittore dei principi", per il suo frequente lavoro con clienti reali. Ad Anversa, Rubens riveste fin da subito cariche di prestigio e diventa "pittore di corte" (1609) presso gli Arciduchi Alberto e Isabella.
