Albrecht Altdorfer (1480 circa – Ratisbona, 12 febbraio 1538) è stato un pittore tedesco, fondatore della Scuola danubiana nel sud della Germania, contemporaneo di Albrecht Dürer. Albrecht Altdorfer was a German painter, engraver and architect of the Renaissance working in Regensburg. He is the pioneer of the Danube School, a group of artists who painted biblical and historical subjects against landscape backgrounds of expressive colours. He also made small intricate engravings and architecture.
