Alice in Wonderland narra di eventi seguenti alle avventure vissute da Alice narrate nel romanzo di Carrol. Per quanto l'atmosfera sia molto "burtoniana", Alice non regge il confronto con altri film come La fabbrica di Cioccolato o Nightmare before Christmas In un certo senso il film è stato una delusione, mi ha lasciato molto perplesso.
