Maria Christina von Wrangel (mother) Countess Amalia "Emilie" Wilhelmina Lewenhaupt (née von Königsmarck) (20 August 1663 – 30 January 1740) was a Swedish noblewoman of German descent who became known as a dilettante painter, actor, and poet.

10 lug 2021 · Amalia von Königsmarck depicted herself in an allegorical self-portrait from 1689 holding a portrait of Queen Ulrika Eleonora the elder. In this image she underlines her role as artist by holding a bunch of paintbrushes in her right hand whilst her clothes and her jewellery indicate her elevated social status.
1663 - 1740. Sweden. Amalia Wilhelmina von Königsmarck was the daughter of Conrad Christofer von Königsmarck and Maria Kristina Wrangel and from 1689 was married to Count Carl Gustav Lewenhaupt. Like her sister Maria Aurora von Königsmarck and the la Gardie sisters, she belonged to the friends and acquaintances of Queen Ulrika Eleonora the elder.
Amalia von Königsmarck (1663–1740) was a member of a German-Swedish noble family. Her paternal grandfather, Field Marshal Hans Christoff von Königsmarck took part in the Thirty Years’ War on the Swedish side and, as a reward for his contribution, was raised to the status of a Swedish count.
6 nov 2020 · Amalia von Königsmarck is an example of a talented and well-educated woman who was never able to fully realise her true potential. After marrying she experienced many pregnancies and gave birth to seven children – three of whom survived into adulthood – and was constantly on the move.
