For my Erasmus next year I have a choice of three countries where I can study Arabic: Morocco, Egypt & Lebanon. At the moment I’m inclined to pick Lebanon (due to Lebanon being the one supporting Palestine the most out of the 3 options) however the uni is an American uni so I wanted to enquire about the standards for learning Arabic at the university.

It was from this palace that General Henri Gouraud declared the creation of Greater Lebanon in 1920. Its ownership was moved in 1972 from Beirut Municipality to the French state. The Palace was listed as a protected building in 1995.
