Anne Darwin. Anne Elizabeth Darwin (2 March 1841 – 23 April 1851) was the second child and eldest daughter of Charles and Emma Darwin . Annie's grave in Great Malvern. Life. In 1849, Anne caught scarlet fever along with her two sisters, [1] and her health thereafter declined; some authorities believe that she suffered from tuberculosis.

Anne Darwin denied six charges of deception and nine of using criminal property. Sentencing. On 23 July 2008, John and Anne Darwin were both convicted of fraud. John Darwin faced an additional charge relating to his fake passport and was sentenced to six years and three months in prison.
