Il filosofo britannico Antony Flew (1923-2010) è conosciuto come “l’ateo più famoso del mondo che ha cambiato idea”. Flew, infatti, ha sostenuto per decenni posizioni ateistiche. Sono un esempio i volumi God and Philophy e The Presumption of Atheism.
Antony Garrard Newton Flew (11 Şubat 1923, Londra - 8 Nisan 2010, Reading), İngiliz filozof. Analitik düşünce okuluna bağlılığı ve din felsefesiyle ilgili çalışmalarıyla tanınır. Flew, geçmişte ateizmi kuvvetle desteklerdi, Tanrı hakkında bir kanıt ortaya çıkıncaya kadar ateizmin kabul edilmesi gerektiğini savunurdu.

Pero seguramente uno de los hitos más significativos en esa larga historia ha sido el brusco y reciente cambio de postura del filósofo inglés Antony Flew que fue, durante más de medio siglo, uno de los más vehementes ateos del mundo.
Antony Flew – His Central Work Previously, in his central work, The Presumption of Atheism (1976), Flew argued that the "onus of proof [of God] must lie upon the theist." However, at the age of 81, Flew shocked the world when he renounced his atheism because “the argument for Intelligent Design is enormously stronger than it was when I first met it."
