Prince Aschwin of Lippe-Biesterfeld (13 June 1914 – 14 May 1988) was an expert in Chinese painting and Indian sculpture and curator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. He was the younger brother of Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld.

Ernst Aschwin Georg Carol Heinrich Ignatz (Erwin) Prinz zur Lippe-Biesterfeld ( Jena, 13 juni 1914 – 's-Gravenhage, 14 mei 1988) was een kenner van de Chinese schilderkunst en Indiase beeldhouwkunst en conservator van het Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
On 24 February 1916, Armgard and her two sons Bernhard (1911–2004) and Aschwin (1914–1988) were created Prince(ss) of Lippe-Biesterfeld with the style Serene Highness. They returned to a more senior position in the line of succession to the Lippian throne , in which they previously had been the very last.
Origini. Apparteneva alla famiglia sovrana tedesca dei Lippe-Biesterfeld ed era figlio del principe Bernhard di Lippe (1872-1934) e della baronessa Armgard von Sierstorpff-Cramm (1883-1971). Il suo unico fratello, Aschwin van Lippe (1914-1988), sposò la principessa Simone Arnoux (1915-2001).

Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld (later Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands; 29 June 1911 – 1 December 2004) was Prince of the Netherlands from 6 September 1948 to 30 April 1980 as the husband of Queen Juliana. They had four daughters together, including Beatrix, who was Queen of the Netherlands from 1980 to 2013.
