Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin (/ ˈ p j uː dʒ ɪ n / PEW-jin; 1 March 1812 – 14 September 1852) was an English architect, designer, artist and critic with French and Swiss origins. He is principally remembered for his pioneering role in the Gothic Revival style of architecture .

Architetto, disegnatore e artigiano, nato a Londra il 1° marzo 1812, morto il 14 settembre 1852; fece gli studî al Christ's Hospital, e nella prima giovinezza si dedicò all'oreficeria e alla scenografia e disegnò il mobilio per il castello di Windsor (1827). In seguito si specializzò nell'architettura ecclesiastica.
