Bedales School is a public school ( co-educational private school, boarding and day) in the village of Steep, near the market town of Petersfield in Hampshire, England. It was founded in 1893 by John Haden Badley in reaction to the limitations of conventional Victorian schools and has been co-educational since 1898.

Bedales School is recognised as one of England’s top tier public schools, a reputation coming from its strong international profile, above average sector academic performance, and above all class leading whole child development programs.
The school offers GCSEs, A-Levels, and its own curriculum called BACs. Bedales School achieves consistently good academic results despite not being overly selective. In 2021, 65% of GCSE and BAC grades were 9-7 grades and 21% of A-Level grades were A grades.
