History. Behind the Trap Door features collaborations with Bono, Bob Neuwirth, and Richard Thompson. In the liner notes, Burnett states: "I was just starting to come out of a dark personal time, and was working these things out of my system. My original title was Beneath The Trap Door.
16 mag 2006 · Instead Burnett released the 1982 EP Trap Door, six songs spread over two 12-inch vinyl sides. The band-Burnett and David Mansfield on guitars, bassist David Miner, and drummer David Kemper-had been gigging regularly, so Trap Door exudes an enormously appealing small-band pop energy.

“Behind the Trap Door” was a six track release by T-Bone Burnett, which echoed an earlier EP called simply “Trapdoor” which Burnett had released in 1982. “Behind the Trap Door” was only released in the UK and Europe through the label, Demon Records, and quickly went out of print.
17 ott 2023 · Burnett was someone to watch, and following his debut release on Takoma Records, 1980’s ‘Truth Decay’, he landed a contract with WEA. ‘Proof Through The Night’ was Burnett’s sole album on WEA, though he did release an EP, ‘Trap Door’, and Demon released ‘Behind the Trap Door’ in the UK.
