Ben Cardinal. Active in film, theatre and TV since the late 1980s, Ben Cardinal is an actor and writer from the Métis community of Lac La Biche, Alberta. His many acting credits include roles in feature films like Road to Saddle River (1993) and Clint Eastwood’s Unforgiven, and TV series like Heartland and North of Sixty.
Ben Cardinal, a Metis originally from Lac la Biche, first began acting when he was only 10 years-old. As a child he had this restless energy and a "big mouth" which sometimes got him into trouble, he recalls.
