Benson Kipruto (born 17 March 1991) is a Kenyan long-distance runner. He won the 125th Boston Marathon in 2021 (2:09:51), the 2022 Chicago Marathon (2:04:24) and the 2024 Tokyo Marathon in a personal best of 2:02:16, where he also set a new course record.

Benson Kipruto stole the show from two-time defending Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge in the men's race at the Tokyo Marathon 2024 to win in a course record of 2 hours, 2 minutes, 16 seconds on Sunday (3 March). Kipchoge - who was the previous record-holder in the event of 2:02:40 - finished 10th in 2:06:50.
