Enrico di Brunswick-Lüneburg (1468-1532) Enrico di Brunswick-Lüneburg, conosciuto come Enrico il Medio, in tedesco Heinrich der Mittlere ( 15 settembre 1468 – Wienhausen, 19 febbraio 1532 ), fu duca di Brunswick-Lüneburg. Governò il Principato di Lüneburg dal 1486 fino alla sua morte.
The Duchy of Brunswick-Lüneburg ( German: Herzogtum Braunschweig und Lüneburg ), or more properly the Duchy of Brunswick and Lüneburg, was a historical duchy that existed from the late Middle Ages to the Late Modern era within the Holy Roman Empire, until the year of its dissolution. The duchy was located in what is now northwestern Germany.

Ottone I di Brunswick-Lüneburg, soprannominato Ottone il Fanciullo, ( 1204 – 1252) fu il primo duca di Brunswick-Lüneburg, dal 1235 al 1252 .
Biografia. Ottone, figlio primogenito di Enrico, duca di Brunswick-Lüneburg e Margherita di Sassonia nacque il 24 agosto 1495. Come i suoi fratelli Ernesto e Francesco, avendo studiato a Wittenberg, fu immediatamente influenzato delle idee riformiste di Martin Lutero e divenne per questo il principale sostenitore dell'introduzione della Riforma protestante nel Principato di Lüneburg.
Secondogenito (n. 1360 circa - m. 1434) del duca Magnus II di Brunswick, riconquistò (1388) con i fratelli il Lüneburg, occupato dai duchi di Sassonia. Dopo l'assassinio del fratello Federico (1400), procedette a una spartizione col fratello Enrico, prendendo per sé il Brunswick, che, alla morte di Enrico, barattò col nipote in cambio del Lüneburg.
