I'm wondering what is the best way to express that an email contains an attachment. I'd like to have a formal example, and an informal example.
I actually see no problem in ending a sentence with best at (or good at) (best for is wrong here), but I would tweak: We take pride in doing what we are best at - delivering unsurpassed levels of service - so that / making sure that our customers can do what they are best at. –
1. "Better" is a comparative, i.e. it is a relationship between two things. "Best" is a superlative, i.e. it states the position of this one thing compared to all the other things under discussion. If I have three choices, A, B, and C, all the following statements could be true: A is better than B. B is better than C. A is better than C.

If the context is about a certain occupation or field, then it would refer to being the best in that occupation or field, like "If you are looking for a good plumber, Joey is the best in Philadelphia.". Joey is the worst in the business.

2: So we will work together as best as possible. (modifies the verb) Personally I'd rather use as best we can in #2, but you can follow the link there for many examples. EDIT: As Peter points out, strictly speaking the "correct" adverbial form in #2 is well, not best.
12 lug 2017 · 1. Using the word best as a noun is perfectly acceptable. Best is a singular noun and its plural does not technically exist. Cambridge Dictionary. 'Bests' is an incorrect way of spelling the word 'best'. Now, there are many who use and have commonly used the incorrect word 'bests'.
Which do you like best? I would use the above to ask for someone's advice on which they preferred of three or more choices, where the 'ranking' might go from least preferred to best. (this one, not at all, these two are ok, this one is very nice, but this one I like best.) In other words, good < better < best.
8. British English: 'All the best' is used interchangeably with 'Best regards' or 'Best wishes' or even 'Take Care' or 'Best for now' or 'Bye for now' when signing off a letter or email. It's friendlier than 'Best regards' or 'Best wishes' but not as familiar as 'Take Care'. 'Best of luck' is entirely different and specific to a need to wish ...
