Blake Edwards, pseudonimo di William Blake Crump ( Tulsa, 26 luglio 1922 – Santa Monica, 15 dicembre 2010 ), è stato un regista, sceneggiatore e produttore cinematografico statunitense che, negli anni quaranta, in piccoli ruoli, prese parte come attore anche a circa una trentina di film.
Blake Edwards Blake Edwards (born William Blake Crump; July 26, 1922 – December 15, 2010) was an American film director, producer, screenwriter, and actor. Edwards began his career in the 1940s as an actor, but he soon began writing screenplays and radio scripts before turning to producing and directing in television and films.
Blake acted in a number films, beginning with Ten Gentlemen from West Point (1942) and wrote a number of others, beginning with Panhandle (1948) and including six for director Richard Quine. He created the popular TV series Peter Gunn (1958) , Mr. Lucky (1959) and Dante (1960) .
