Blow Out è probabilmente uno dei suoi film più importanti e tra i più riusciti, sebbene non tutto fili liscio, qui c'è qualcosa che mancava nei suoi atri film: protagonisti azzeccati. Eh si, John Travolta è perfetto nel ruolo e riesce a dare quel tocco di umanità e carisma, senza la quale si noterebbero le solite cadute di stile( ricorrente in quasi tutta la sua filmografia).
