Thomas Boylston Adams (September 15, 1772 – March 12, 1832) was the third and youngest son of second United States president John Adams and Abigail (Smith) Adams.
Shortly after Thomas Boylston returned to America in 1798, he struck up a correspondence with Ann, and by 1802, Abigail Adams felt she knew Ann well enough to approve of the match. “She is a serious, solid, sensible, amiable woman, qualified I think to make a good wife,” Abigail wrote.
