3 giorni fa · Brightwell Park, immediately north of Brightwell village, was the site of a medieval manor house remodelled in the late 16th or early 17th century, and set amidst formal gardens. Its Georgian successor was mostly demolished c.1947–9, leaving a converted stable block and the early 19th-century landscaped parkland.
