Brynjar Leifsson (born 11 September 1990) is an Icelandic musician. He is best known as the lead guitarist of the Icelandic indie folk band Of Monsters and Men. [1] Personal life. Brynjar was raised in Keflavík, a town in southwest Iceland. [2] . His brother is a pilot.
Brynjar Leifsson Tomas Järmyr, born in 1987 in Sweden, discovered his passion for drums at the age of 2. Beginning formal lessons at 7, he swiftly immersed himself in various music genres, playing in local bands and orchestras, showcasing his unique drumming style characterized by force, finesse, intensity, and control.
It consists of lead singer and guitarist Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir, singer and guitarist Ragnar "Raggi" Þórhallsson, lead guitarist Brynjar Leifsson, drummer Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson, and bassist Kristján Páll Kristjánsson. The band won the Músíktilraunir in 2010, an annual Battle of the Bands in Iceland.
