Buddha's Little Finger is an English-language feature film directed by Tony Pemberton and starring Toby Kebbell. The screenplay is based on Victor Pelevin's 1996 novel Chapayev and Void, which is known in the US as Buddha's Little Finger and in the UK as Clay Machine Gun.

It is the 1991 coup in the Soviet Union. Pyotr Voyd, a young gangster awakes in the notorious prison of Lubyanka, captured by the KGB. During the interrogation process he loses his memory and believes that he is a Russian Revolutionary poet in 1919 where he joins the real-life Red Army hero Vasily Chapayev and his sidekick machine gunner Anna.

Buddha's Little Finger plot Unemployed writer Pyotr accidentally ends up in the Russian underworld as a result of complications during the Russian August coup in 1991. He is arrested and interrogated by the KGB, but loses both consciousness and memory and awakens during the Russian Revolution in 1919.
