Il titolo europeo del gioco deriva dal motto della scuola in cui è ambientato il gioco, Canis Canem Edit, opposto della locuzione latina Canis canem non est che significa "cane non mangia cane". Il titolo originale era però Bully ( bullo ), censurato in Europa per rendere meno esplicito il soggetto.
