  3. Oddly enough, I served on a cutter in the late 90s with a guy whose last name was Sharkey. When he made Chief, he ate this shit up - even invited Don Rickles to his initiation. Don politely declined, but did send an autographed photo of CPO Sharkey AND a letter to the Chief’s Mess. It made for a very “interesting” and fun initiation.
