History. Early career (1987–1988) Originally called Blind Allez, then for a short time 'Phobia', GUN were formed in 1987 by Giuliano Gizzi (guitar) and Cami Morlotti (bass), with Mark Rankin (vocals), Alan Thornton (drums) and David Aitken and Gary Moore (guitar).

Gun is a Scottish band formed in 1987 in Glasgow and originally consisting of Giuliano Gizzi, Cami Morlotti, Mark Rankin, Aln Thornton, David Aitken and Gary Moore.Group which immediately achieved its first success with the release of the Single “Better days” in 1989, a Single taken from their first album “Taking on the world” which was released the same year.
