The disc presents a native 3840 x 2160p resolution image utilising the film's original theatrical aspect ratio of widescreen 2.40:1.

17 feb 2024 · I certainly did, and while I prefer "The First Avenger" due to its period setting, "The Winter Soldier" remains a very good adventure. Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson did some of their best work here, in my opinion, and seeing Sebastian Stan in a darker persona was a real treat as well.
24 apr 2019 · Captain America: Civil War was shot digitally using a combination of Arri Alexa IMAX, Arri Alexa XT Plus, GoPro Hero 4 Black and Red Epic Dragon cameras with resolutions between 2.8 and 6.5K but ultimately finished as a 2K DI which has been used for this Ultra HD Blu-ray release.
24 apr 2019 · Captain America: The First Avenger is first and foremost an origin film, not only of the titular character but of the Avengers themselves. As a film, it is, compared to what is to come, rather ordinary, one might say safe , but it does what it sets out to do, placing a stepping stone of much bigger things to come, and does so with surprising gusto and a heartfelt script.

20 apr 2019 · Phil Lord and Chris Miller - who gave us the tremendous Lego Movie and its sequel, and might have given us a more memorable Solo prequel had they not been inauspiciously replaced by Ron Howard - put together this truly spectacular Spider-Man outing, enlisting a triumvirate of relatively new directors to helm the piece, but clearly instilling it with their now trademark brand.

Whilst the Clueless/Scream combo doesn't necessarily work that well, there was something interesting going on under the hood of this comedy-horror high school flick, which equally appeared to do more than showcase Fox's body, gifting her a chewy - if ultimately throwaway - part to play in the offbeat proceedings.
