Carry the Ghost is the second studio album by American folk music artist Noah Gundersen. It was released by Dualtone Records on August 21, 2015. Gundersen toured in support of the album throughout 2015. Gundersen turned to Neil Young’s “Tonight’s the Night” for inspiration:

Carry The Ghost is Noah Gundersen’s second studio album. According to Noah, this album was a process of self-discovery about the “nature of man and the meaning of our relationships”.
21 ago 2015 · Though only a little more than a year has passed since the 2014 release of Ledges, Carry The Ghost finds an older, more sophisticated Gundersen attempting the difficult work of unraveling our purpose here, searching for answers about the nature of man and the meaning of our relationships.
Following up his breakthrough album Ledges, Gundersen returned to the studio to record his second LP, Carry the Ghost, which was released in 2015. The album deals with the challenges of success, failed relationships, religion, and sexuality.
