Il vecchio castello è uno dei monumenti dello stato ed è curato dai palazzi e dai giardini statali del Baden-Württemberg. Dalla sua torre si ha una buona vista panoramica sulla città di Baden-Baden e una vista in lontananza della pianura del Reno e dei Vosgi. Anche il cortile del castello in rovina merita una visita.

Hohenbaden Castle (at the time of its establishment Schloss Hohenbaden, now Old castle or Altes Schloss) in German Baden-Baden was the residence of the margraves of Baden for almost 400 years. The castle was built around 1100 by Herman II, Margrave of Baden (1074–1130) on the west flank of the Battert rock.

31 ago 2023 · Hohenbaden Castle was built in 1102 to be home to the Margraves of Baden. It was a grand palace with 100 rooms in its heyday in the 15th century. Known as Altes Schloss (Old Castle) locally (and this is what you’ll see on street signs), the oldest part of the buildings are on the southwestern side of the hill on a crest.
Un vecchio castello in rovina che permette di godere di viste uniche e speciali su tutta la valle. Immerso nel verde, bisogna andare in macchina (a 5 min dal centro città) ma ne vale la pena. Foto spettacolari che ricordare per tutta la vita.
