Chögyam Trungpa. Chögyam Trungpa (Kham, 28 febbraio 1939 – Halifax, 4 aprile 1987) è stato un filosofo e maestro di meditazione tibetano. È stato maestro di meditazione buddista sia della scuola Kagyu che della scuola Nyngma. È stato anche sommo abate del Monastero di Surmang, poeta ed artista.

Biography: The Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche (1939-1987) was the 11th descendent in the line of Trungpa tülkus, important teachers of the Kagyü lineage, one of the four main schools of Tibetan Buddhism and renowned for its strong emphasis on meditation practice.
