The School is set within an inspiring 250‑acre campus, conveniently located close to London and within 50 minutes of both Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
Academic Overview. Our vision at Charterhouse focuses on promoting academic rigour, developing intellectual curiosity and nurturing in children the ability and desire to learn independently. The Sixth Form curriculum at Charterhouse is exciting, academically rigorous and intellectually stimulating. It provides pupils entering the Sixth Form a choice of pathways.
Each year we will welcome around 60 new pupils into the Sixth Form (known as 'Specialists') to study either the A level or IBDP curriculum as a boarder or as a day pupil. These new pupils will join an existing year group of approximately 180 pupils. Competition for places is strong.
Charterhouse’s current and advance term dates and times can be found in the tables below. Any exceptions to timings will be communicated to parents in advance. All drop-offs and collections will be from each pupil’s Boarding House.
