30 apr 2024 · The first women in Cheltenham to own a car. In 1906 Miss Lilian Faithfull became Principal of Cheltenham Ladies’ College until 1922. On 2 May 1952, Lilian passed away age 87 at Faithfull House, one of our current care homes in Suffolk Square in Cheltenham. An inspiring lady, leading the way in her time, and her legacy lives on in all that we do.
