Synopsis. George C. Scott is an American businessman who teams up with Ali MacGraw, a Chinese-speaking guide, to locate his son, Michael Biehn, a political radical who went to China and disappeared during the Cultural Revolution in 1967, and in their search get involved in the Hong Kong drug trade.
