Adrian Paul is fantastic as photographer and jilted lover David Carlisle, while Aaron Perilo and Vince Lozano also put forth great performances. This film is moody, artistic and understated and serves as a great reminder that crime is always present, even during Christmas time. 10/10. Wonderful film.
The story was just all over the place, I was not a fan of the ending, and there was no depth or genuineness to any of the characters because the film tried to focus on too many different stories. Christmas Crime Story was shot well and had a cinematic look, but needless VFX took me out of the story throughout the movie, like the diner sign and grainy close-ups done in post.
