Clear Impetuous Morning. Clear Impetuous Morning is an album by the American band Jason & the Scorchers, released in 1996. [1] [2] The band supported the album with a North American tour that included shows with Slobberbone. [3] [4] The band's second studio album after their reunion, it was also their last with bass player Jeff Johnson.

There's also a duet with Emmylou Harris on one of the album's few mellow moments, "Everything Has A Cost." Things slow a bit in the second half, but it's hardly "easy listening." Most of the material is new, but also included is a reworking of "Drug Store Truck Driving Man,"The Byrds' less than affectionate tribute to the still ubiquitous Ralph Emery.
