Colin McCredie (born 8 June 1972 in Dumbarton, Scotland) is a Scottish actor, best known for his role as DC Stuart Fraser in the STV drama Taggart, Nick Morrison in the BBC Scotland Soap Opera River City and in the films Shallow Grave, Night is Day and The Missing Postman.

His breakthrough role was in the hit British film Shallow Grave (1994). He joined the cast of the ITV network series Taggart (1983) in 1995 and appeared in over 75 episodes.

24 giu 2021 · Star of Taggart and River City, Colin McCredie will play Toad in the new adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s much-loved tale, The Wind in the Willows, on the banks of the River Tummel by Pitlochry Festival Theatre. Colin McCredie grew up in Perth and trained at the RSAMD. He is best known for playing D.C Fraser in over 75 episodes of Taggart.
