Western Mail Thursday 10/11/1949 reported: 'Plaque to Master and Old Boys Unveiled The Archbishop of Wales last night dedicated at the Church of the Holy Cross, Cowbridge. a memorial plaque to the master and 44 [sic]old boys of Cowbridge Grammar School who fell in World War II.
