Di buona qualità seppur non eccelsa, la compilation ha il pregio di muoversi disinvolta in una scaletta complessa, e con destrezza sui diversi livelli. Un DJ Kicks più adatto per l’ascolto casalingo che non a un contesto di condivisione: nel secondo caso, servirebbe un pubblico ben preparato.

DJ-Kicks, Mount Kimbie's first official mix, isn't a change of heart so much as an opportunity that probably came along at the right time. The mix was inspired by a series of DJ gigs they did alongside Actress across March and April.
