I remember him and Daniel Domscheit-Berg presenting the idea of Wikileaks at the Chaos Communication Congress (the most important congress for hackers in the world). Back then they weren’t Russian tools. However, after his critical publications about US warcrimes he went more and more to the other side, I agree.

Nach eigener Aussage hat er „im Internet Geld verdient“ und konnte somit unbezahlt für WikiLeaks arbeiten. Mehrmals wurde er festgenommen, abgehört, zensiert und erfolglos verklagt.
