Darin McKay LaHood (/ l ə ˈ h ʊ d / lə-HOOD; born July 5, 1968) is an American attorney and politician who has served as a U.S. representative from Illinois since 2015. A member of the Republican Party, LaHood has represented the 16th district since 2023, and previously represented the 18th district from 2015 to 2023.

Originally sworn into the US House of Representatives on September 17, 2015, after winning a special election, he won re-election to serve his fourth full term in Congress on November 8, 2022.
