His notable films included The Evil Dead and Oz the Great and Powerful as well as several installments in the Spider-Man series.
I recently re-watched Darkman (1990) which is one of my favorite underrated movies and is still in my top five original comic book movies. But after watching it again, I unfortunately realized the horrible truth in that Sam Raimi hasn't directed a good movie since 2004.
