Bass Magazine / Jun 11, 2020. Former AWOLNATION bassist and multi-instrumentalist Dave Amezcua is debuting his new alt/pop project ZIMINY. The first single, “She (Zoey Deutch),” showcases the heavy influence of 80s melodies and soundscapes, with a modern touch.
Bruno has been with numerous bands before he created Awolnation, including Home Town Hero with Drew Stewart and Under the Influence of Giants with Dave Amezcua. Bruno writes all of his songs himself, but confides in close friends and family or respected artists for guidance. The band released their first EP Back from Earth on May 18, 2010.
Dave Amezcua is a multi-platinum awarded bass player and teacher, offering session work and lessons.
